Remastering History is Morton Made It’s dedicated photo restoration service. With over 15 years of hands-on experience, we work with you to restore, colourise, and transform historic photographs — from a single treasured family portrait to an entire archive — into images that look like they were always meant to be seen this way.

  • Already have a physical photograph? If you provide us a scan or photo of our image, we’ll correct perspective, remove glare, and produce a clean, high-resolution digital file you can keep forever.

  • Either provide a digital image or post Digitisation. Scratches, creases, water damage, heat damage, fading — we’ve seen it all, and fixed most of it. No photograph is too far gone to be worth sending over.

  • Bringing a black-and-white or sepia photograph into full colour is part science, part art. Every colour choice is made manually and researched carefully to be as true to life as possible.

  • Blurred details sharpened. Backgrounds extended. Artistic effects applied tastefully. We go beyond restoration to make your photograph genuinely beautiful.

  • Subtle, tasteful animation that makes your images breathe — a gentle blink, a slight movement. It sounds simple; the effect is quietly remarkable. Animated image provided as either a GIF or video file.
